Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card is a co-branded travel credit card, which SBI has launched with an alliance with Air India. This card is specially designed for those who travel regularly with Air India, this card offers several benefits like reward benefits, lounge access, Benefit on flight booking, lost card liability coverage, etc. This card also allows you to convert the reward points into air miles, in a ratio of 1:1. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident Type: Indian.   
  • For salaried person:
    • Age: 21 to 65 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹40,000 monthly. 
  • For self-employed person:
    • Age: 21 to 65 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹40,000 monthly. 
  • Good CIBIL Score (750 or more).
  • Good relation with the bank.

  • Welcome benefit:

With the issuance of the card and payment of the joining fee, you will be able to get 5000 reward points as a welcome gift. You will also get complimentary membership of the Air India frequent flyer. You will get the welcome gift within 15days of paying the annual fees. 

  • Reward benefit:

With every ₹100 transactions made with this card, you will get 2 reward points each time.

You will be able to get up to 15000 bonus reward points per year.

You can redeem those reward points into Air Miles, 1 reward point = 1 Air mile. 

  • Lounge Access:

This card offers you 8 complimentary visits to domestic Visa lounges, you will get a maximum of 2 free accesses per quarter. 

  • Travel benefit:

If you spend Rs.100 for booking air India tickets from their website you will get 15 reward points.

If you book for yourself you will get 15 reward points, and 5 reward points when you book for others.

If you spend Rs.100 for purchasing supersaver booklets you will get 5 reward points

  • Fuel surcharge waiver:

This card offers a 1% waiver on fuel surcharges, this offer is applicable at any fuel stations in India. 

  • Lost card liability coverage:

This card comes with a lost card liability coverage of ₹1 lakh, the benefits of the coverage are applicable on 48 hours of pre-reporting and 7 days of post reporting the loss of the card. 

  • Milestone benefit:

You will get 2000 reward points per year as an anniversary gift.

If you spend a minimum of Rs.2lakh in a year you will get 5,000 bonus reward points

If you spend Rs.3 lakh in a year you will get extra 10,000 bonus reward points.

  • Add on card:

You can add any 2 of your family members like parents, spouse, and siblings with the Air India SBI Platinum Card card as an add-on member. The member’s age should be minimum of 18 years.

  • Flexipay:

By using flexipay you can convert your transaction into easy monthly installment. 

  • Balance transfer:

You can Transfer your other bank credit card’s outstanding to your Air India SBI Platinum Card and pay back it in EMIs with a lower interest rate.
