Air India SBI Signature Card is a co-branded travel credit card, specially designed for frequent Air India fliers. You will get rewards for flight bookings. This card offers some attractive benefits like a welcome gift, reward points, milestone benefits, Air travel offers, global acceptance, fuel surcharge waiver, etc. let’s discuss the card in detail and see if it worth the ₹4999 annual fees or not. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident Type: Indian. 
  • For salaried person:
    • Age: 21 to 65 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹60,000 monthly. 
  • For self-employed person:
    • Age: 21 to 65 yrs. 
    • Income: 21 to 65 yrs. 
  • Good CIBIL Score (750 or more).
  • Good relation with the bank.

  • Welcome benefit:

With the issuance of the card and the payment of the joining fee, you will get 20000 reward points as a welcome gift. 

You will also get complimentary membership of the Air India frequent flyer. 

You will get the welcome gift within 15days of paying the annual fees.

  • Reward benefit:

For each ₹100 spend with this card you will get 4 reward points. 

You will be able to get up to 1 lakh bonus reward points per year.

These reward points are convertible and you can convert them into Air India miles. (1 reward point = 1 Air India Mile). 

  • Lounge access:

This card offers you 8 free accesses to the domestic visa lounge, you can get a maximum of 2 visits per quarter. 

  • Travel benefit:

If you book your flight tickets from you will get 30 reward points for each ₹100 transactions. 

You will get the reward points in between 45 days.

If you spend ₹100 on supersaver booklets you will get 10 reward points.

  • Fuel surcharge waiver:

This card offers a 1% waiver on fuel surcharges, you can save a maximum of ₹250 in a month. The transaction amount should be between ₹500 to ₹4000. 

  • Lost card liability coverage:

This card comes with lost card liability coverage of ₹1 lakh. To avail the maximum benefit of the coverage, you have to report the loss as soon as you notice it. 

  • Milestone benefit:

You will get 5000 reward points per year as an anniversary gift.

If you spend a minimum of Rs.5 lakh in a year you will get 20000 bonus reward points.

If you spend Rs.10 lakh in a year you will get 30000 bonus reward points.

If you spend Rs.20 lakh in a year you will get 50000 bonus rewards points.

  • Add on card:

You can add any 2 of your family members like parents, spouse, and siblings with the Air India SBI Signature Card as an add-on member. The member’s age should be minimum of 18 years.

  • Flexipay:

By using flexibly you can convert your transection in easy monthly installment. 

  • Balance transfer:

You can Transfer your other bank credit card’s outstanding to your Air India SBI Signature Card and pay back it in EMIs with a lower interest rate.

  • Global acceptance:
