Bandhan Bank Standard Chartered Plus Credit Card is a co-branded credit card from Bandhan Bank. It is a basic credit card specially designed for daily use. The main aspect of this card is reward points it also offers a fuel surcharge waiver and annual fee waiver facility. Now let’s discuss its benefits in detail and see if it worth the ₹ 699 annual fees or not.  

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident Type: Indian. 
  • For salaried person:
    • Age: 21 to 65 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹25,00 monthly (Approx)
  • For self-employed person:
    • Age: ₹21 to 65 yrs.
    • Income: ₹25,00 monthly (Approx)
  • Good CIBIL Score (750 or more).
  • Good relation with the bank.

With the issuance of the card, you will get 1500 bonus reward points as a welcome gift.   

  • Reward benefit:

This card offers 3 reward points for each ₹150 spend this card. 

You will get 5 bonus reward points if you spend on dining, booking movie tickets, purchasing products from supermarkets, and shopping for groceries.

  • Fuel surcharge waiver:

This card offers exclusive reward points when you purchase fuel using this card. The amount of the surcharge waiver depends on your spending. 

  • Milestone benefit:

If you can spend ₹90,000 or more with your card within a year then the annual fee for the next year will be waived off. 

  • Global Acceptance:

You can use this card at any foreign or domestic e-commerce site or outlet, where the Visa Cards are accepted. 

  • EMV Chip Card:

This card comes with a built-in EMV chip, it adds more security to your transaction. 


  • Cash Withdrawal Charge: 3% against the withdrawn amount, min ₹300. 
  • Finance Charge: 3.49% monthly.

Bandhan Bank Standard Chartered Plus Credit Card is a basic credit card, best suited for daily uses. This card offers 3 reward points on each ₹150 transactions, fuel surcharge waiver, annual fee waiver, etc. 

But the benefits offered by this card cannot justify the ₹699 annual fees, as there are lots of credit cards out there that offer much better benefits at this price. For instance, if you like shopping you can go for RBL Platinum ShopSmart SuperCard or ICICI Amazon Pay Credit Card. and if you like to earn reward points then you can go for American Express SmartEarn Credit Card
