Indusind Bank offers so many credit cards for their customers for their daily uses and the Indusind Bank Gold Credit Card is one of them. It is a multipurpose credit card, with four reward plans you can use this card as you want and can earn benefits from it. The four reward plans are Shopping Plan, Home Plan, Travel Plan, and Party Plan, also this card is protected by the total Protect Facility. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident Type: Indian. 
  • For salaried person:
    • Age: 21 to 60 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹25,000 monthly. 
  • For self-employed person:
    • Age: 21 to 65 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹25,000 monthly. 
  • Good CIBIL Score (750 or more).
  • Good relation with the bank.

    • Voter Card
    • Passport

  • Photocopy of Address proof (any 1) 
    • Last 6 months bank account Statement

Benefits:

  • Welcome benefit:

With the issuance of the card, you will get some gift vouchers as a welcome gift. You will receive gift vouchers by this SMS. You can choose the gift vouchers by replying to the SMS or by calling the customer care number. 

  • Shopping plan:

If you spend Rs.100 at departmental stores you will get 4 savings points.

If you spend Rs.100 for purchasing consumer durables or electronics products you will get 2 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 at restaurants you will get 1.25 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 for purchasing books you will get 1.25 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 on other categories you will get 0.5 savings points.

  • Home plan:

If you spend Rs.100 for grocery shopping you will get 4 savings points.

If you spend Rs.100 for payment of mobile bills and electricity bills you will get 2.5 savings points each time.

If you spend Rs.100 for payment of insurance premium you will get 1.5 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 at a medical shop you will get 1.5 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 on other categories you will get 0.5 savings points.

  • Travel plan:

If you spend Rs.100 at hotels you will get 4 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 for bookings of airline tickets you will get 2.5 savings points. 

If you spend Rs.100 on rent of cars and bookings of rail tickets you’ll get 1.5 savings points each time.

If you spend Rs.100 on other categories you will get 0.50 savings points.

  • Party Plan:

If you spend Rs.100 on restaurant bills you will get 4 savings points. 

You will get 2 savings points for the same on Departmental stores, bars, and pubs.

And 0.50 savings points for all other categories. 

  • Lost card liability coverage:

You will be helped if your card or card details are stolen. The Total Protect facility of this card will help you.

  • Online Benefit:

You can check your balance from your registered mobile number.

You can get your last 5 statements through SMS from your registered mobile number.

You can get your account statement for the last three months.

Charges:

  • Cash Withdrawal Charge: 2.5% against the withdrawn amount, min ₹500. 
  • Finance Charge: 3.83% monthly. 
  • Foreign currency transaction: 3.5% against the transaction amount.

Final Opinion:

If you want to earn reward points for your daily expenses, then this card is perfect for you. It comes with four reward plans, that can earn you a decent amount of benefits, also this card comes with the total protection facility, that gives you coverage against lost cards or any kind of fraud.  

But apart from the reward benefits, there are not many benefits to this card. And if you want to spend more to earn some extra benefits then you can go for HDFC Bank Diners Club Privilege Credit Card or IndusInd Bank PAYBACK Credit Card
