The Oriental Bank of Commerce has introduced a credit card with the cooperation of the State Bank of India. this card offers some benefits to its customers as reward benefits, annual fee waivers, Add-on card facilities, Balance Transfer, EMI facility, and lots more. go through the whole article to know more about the card.   

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident Type: Indian. 
  • For salaried person:
    • Age: 21 – 60 yrs. 
    • Income: ₹18,000 monthly. (Min)
  • For self-employed person:
    • Age: 21- 60 yrs.  
    • Income: ₹18,000 monthly. (Min)
  • Good CIBIL Score (750 or more).
  • Good relation with the bank.

  • Cash-Back:

With this card, you will get a 100% Cash-Back on the first ATM cash withdrawal you make with this card. To grab this offer, you have to make the cash withdrawal within the first 30days of the card activation.   

  • Reward benefit:

With this card, you will earn 2.50% savings on your spending on Groceries or at any Departmental stores. You will also get 1 reward point for other categories, the minimum transaction amount is ₹100.   

  • Bonus reward:

If you can spend ₹2000 within the first 60 days of the card activation, you will get 2000 bonus points, you can redeem the earned reward points in cash, or you can redeem them against any of the categories given in the catalog. 

  • Fuel surcharge waiver:

With this card, you will get up to 2.5% off on fuel surcharges. This offer applies to most of the fuel stations in India. You can earn up to ₹100 waivers monthly. The transaction amount should be ₹500 to ₹3,000. 

  • Annual fee waiver:

With this card you can get a 100% waiver on the annual fee of the card, to grab this offer you just have to spend ₹90,000 or more with this card. 

  • Add on card: 

You can share the benefits of the card with your loved ones, just add your loved ones like Children, Parents, Siblings, or any other family members of 18 years with your card and they can also enjoy the benefits of a credit card. 

  • Balance transfer:

OBC allows you to transfer the balance from your other cards to your OBC MasterCard Gold Credit Card to avail a lower interest rate. You can also pay back the transferred amount in monthly EMIs. 

  • EMI facility: 

You can now extend your shopping bills without worries, as with this card you can convert any of your high-value bills into EMIs. 

  • EMV Chip card:

This card comes with a built-in EMV chip it is a specially designed chip to make your transaction more secure. With this card, you will also get an OTP every time you use your card for online payments.   

  • Worldwide acceptance:

This card is accepted at almost any corner of the world, you can use your card to make payments at more than 24 million outlets in the world where the Visa or MasterCard is accepted. 


  • Cash Withdrawal Charge: 2.5% against the withdrawal amount 
  • Finance Charge: 3.35% monthly.

OBC MasterCard Credit Card is best suited for beginners, as it is hustle-free and easy to use. This card offers some features like reward benefit, annual fee waiver, fuel surcharge waiver, balance transfer, etc. but if you want to earn big benefits from your card then you will be disappointed with this card.
